Isn't working for me. When I click the "None" for payment method, it still wants me to fill out the fields. It won't let me proceed until I do.
Update: Meh, I just made up a name and found some Australian companies address and put it in there. It works.
Not exactly sure how the Kinect could safely be used with this. You can't see your surroundings. You don't want to be flailing your arms and legs around when you can't see what's around you. On top of that, you NEED! buttons.
Nope. I even had my internet company come out and check it.
My bullets don't register. I'll sneak up behind a person and put nearly an entire clip into someone and they still won't die and i'll be dead in 2 bullets. It's not my ping, PC, internet, etc. I have new hardware and a 15Mbps connection. Just google BF3 netcode and you'll see I'm not the only one suffering with this issue. In BF2, BF2142, and COD4 I'd consistently do well enough to be called a cheater on a regular basis. I struggle to get a 1 K:D in BF3. ...
I have no idea how people can play that game with the net coding the way it is? Maybe it's better on the consoles? It's a joke on the PC.
That has NOTHING to do with camera angles and everything to do with net code/lag compensation. It ruined the game for me. People with super low pings (30-50) or high pings(120 and higher) will be able to see you before you see them and their bullets register properly. The whole thing is FUBAR.
AC3 killed it for me. Just let the franchise take a break for a while. Please!
@Moose
Did not know that. Thanks.
I agree with Kratos. I'd rather buy the whole game and get everything like the first game.
Is it F2P, though? I thought you had to buy the main game first and these are just like mini DLC's? Hmm...
It does make sense though. A big portion of their demographic are still in school and if you have the sale at the beginning of their summer break, they're more likely to get more purchases because the kids will have more time to play.
There's a difference between taking your time to get it right and pulling a Duke Nukem Forever.
It's not worth it. I was given a free month of it and every single game I wanted was out for the entire month. And these were older games too.
Unless BB decides to drastically increase the number of disks they have for the popular titles, they are doomed because anyone who tries this will quickly cancel it.
So you'd pay $60 for Journey then? $20-$30 per hour of fun is a pretty damn expensive form of entertainment. If you want to pay that then go ahead. That's too much for me, IMO. I can find other fun things to do that are MUCH cheaper per hour of entertainment.
It's EA and therefor BF4. Of course there'll be micro transaction crap.
By buying BF4 at that price, you're telling ALL publishers that it's okay to get away with bullshit like that.
Get some principles and refuse to buy ALL games at that price. If everyone stands their ground, EA (and everyone else for that matter) will keep their prices low(relatively speaking). If you buy BF4 at that price, it's telling everyone else that it's okay to price AAA titles that high.
Those KB+M adapters are NOT what you think they are. They aren't even close to what a M+KB are like on a PC. I've used them and they sucked. They require the use of a translator that changes the digital input from your M+KB and changes it to the analogue signal that the game is programmed to recognize from a controller. That translation gives a feel that isn't even close to the speed and accuracy of a KB+M on a PC.
The exception is for games that supported K...
It all depends on the amount of aim assist. If there's a ton of aim assist, it will even out but for games with a normal amount of aim assist, KB+M players will destroy controller players. MS did a study on it.

Sorry, it's been proven that KB+M players are so much more accurate AND faster at aiming that they destroyed controller players. MS did a study on it and it was a disaster. Even mediocre KB+M players were destroying controller players. MS had to cancel the plan.

That's what I thought. There are hardly any enemies or life in the environment and the few enemies that are there have pathetic AI. Then you look for puzzles and it's all the same easy stuff. The fighting is also too simplistic and repetitive.
I was interested in this game but after watching that, I think I'll wait and see.
It's attitudes like that that would prevent us from getting something like the Oculus Rift or something even better in the future.
Progress is going to have many bumps in the road. They are required bumps. Every bump teaches us something new. Only once we've accumulated enough information and learned how to use that information will true progress be made. This can be applied to MANY fields and MANY items that we use every day.
